My model is based on the first row.

Left: The design i have created reflects architect’s Rem   insight to create “a house is a machine for living”. In his design, he incorporated a dynamic focus that I have utilised in the development of the two buildings that are extracted from the centre of hid design.
quote: "celebrates the chance like nature of city life: ‘The city is an addictive machine from which there is no escape"

Right: My design also reflects the Finnish architect Alvar Aalto’s  the Saynatsalo Town Hall. Being influenced by both Finnish vernacular architecture and humanist Italian renaissance, Alvar Aalto has created a multifunction building complex that represents democracy and the people’s relationship with the government. Through incorporating public spaces as well as sections accessible by the public, Alvar has created a sense of comfort and openness reflected in my design.
quote: "1. Nothing is as dangerous in architecture as dealing with separate problems. If we split life into separate problems, we split the possibilities to make good building art."

Together:
Through the concept of "a house is a machine for living" portrayed by Rem Koolhaas's design, I have incorporated a dynamic focus into development of the two buildings that are extracted from the centre of the design. This reflects the idea that "celebrates the chance like nature of city life: 'The city is an addictive machine from which there is no escape"
